Isabella Sanchez Castañeda was born in Cali, Colombia, and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She is currently studying communication, with a specialization in journalism, at Villanova University. There, and through her academic career, she has been invested in improving opportunities for students of color and low-income students. Participation in national Diversity & Inclusion conferences she has been able to gain ample experience working towards better representation for all. Isabella is committed to helping the Latin American and immigrant communities of Philadelphia, with a special focus on connecting young people of underrepresented backgrounds. Her interests include reading, travel, and learning new languages in order to better connect with a wide variety of people. Isabella is the youngest member of the Accion Colombia team and currently serves as the communication director and social media coordinator.
