Leity Rodriguez-Largo, Executive Director, is a founding member, coordinator and first Executive Director of Acción Colombia. She oversees programs that provide civic, cultural, and artistic initiatives. She has a degree in Social Work from the Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. Her involvement in the community includes serving on the Raices Culturales Latinoamericanas Tertulias Committee, a contributing member of Mujeres en Movimiento. She is a member of the 5th Street & Hunting Park Avenue Business Association and a board member of the Philadelphia Prevention Partnership. In addition, she is also a founding member of the 2019 Latin American Book Fair and 2020 Alianza Latina 2020 in Philadelphia. She has been recognized by Councilman David Oh in 2019 for her work with the Latino community and in 2021 for her contribution to the 2020 Latin American Book Fair. In 2020 she received the “Orgullo Colombiano” award from the Colombian Consulate in Newark and “Colombia Nos Une”.
