Maria E Metelitis

Maria E. Metelits, born in Colombia, came to the United States 30 years ago. She studied Business Admiration at Universidad Externado de Colombia. In the United States, she earned two Associate Degrees from Community College of Philadelphia; Office Administration and Behavioral Health and Human Services. In 2012, Mrs. Metelits earned a BS from Chestnut Hill College, majoring in Human Services. She worked for PATH in its Mental Retardation Program as a Residential Counselor. From 1997 to 2018, she worked for the Health Promotion Council as a Bilingual Secretary. Later, she became a Senior Bilingual Administrative Assistant. Mrs. Metelits, now retired, volunteers her time as a member of one of the committees of Vernon House, a cooperative residential facility; as a member of the Board of Directors of Morivivi Latino Cancer Support Group and as a member of the Board of Directors of Acción Colombia.
