María del Pilar Rodríguez is a Colombian professional who emigrated to the United States eight years ago. She is deeply passionate about financial education and community empowerment, dedicating her work to helping families and entrepreneurs build secure and meaningful futures. Through her expertise in financial services, she collaborates with professionals and organizations to provide workshops, resources, and culturally relevant programs.

She is the author of “De los cuentos a las cuentas,” a children’s book that introduces financial literacy through storytelling, encouraging children to build a positive relationship with money from a young age.

Acción Colombia holds a big part of her heart. As a board member, María contributes her experience and commitment to support and expand the organization’s impact. She also serves on the board of the Norristown Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the organizing committee for the Latin American Book Fair.

In every role, María promotes inclusion, education, and leadership within the Latino community.
